          A.Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.
 
          B.Product Data: Provide detailed data on Manufacturers catalog data on each product to be used including but not limited to the following information:
          1.Preparation instructions and recommendations.
          2.Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.
          3.Installation methods.
          4.Maintenance recommendations.

          C.Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings indicating details of construction, perimeter conditions and seam locations.

          1.5QUALITY ASSURANCE
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Add quality requirements if required. Delete if not required.
 
          A.Manufacturer Qualifications:
          1.Whenever possible, provide each type of resilient flooring and accessories as provided by a single manufacturer, including recommended primers, adhesives, sealants, finish accessories and leveling compounds.
          2.Provide resilient flooring manufactured by a firm with a minimum of 10 years experience with resilient flooring of types equivalent to those required for project.
 
          B.Installers Qualifications: Installer experienced, minimum of 3 years, to perform work of this section who has specialized in the installation of work similar to that required for this project and who is acceptable to the product manufacturer.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Include a mock-up if the project size and/or quality warrant taking such a precaution. The following is one example of how a mock-up on a large project might be specified. When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project.
 
          C.Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship.
          1.Finish areas designated by Architect.
          2.Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship, color, sheen and finished appearance are approved by Architect.
 
          1.6DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
 
          A.Deliver materials to job site in sealed, undamaged containers with labels intact and legible, indicating the material name, date of manufacture and lot number.
 
          B.Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.
 
          C.Store materials in a dry secure area, where temperatures, away from exposure to the elements and other requirements are in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
 
          D.Keep products away from open flames.
 
          E.Flooring material and adhesive shall be acclimated to the installation area for a minimum of 48 hours prior to installation.

          F.Store cartons of tile products flat and squarely on top of one another, not on edge.
 
          1.7PROJECT CONDITIONS
 
          A.Comply with manufacturer's recommendations for environmental conditions. Areas to receive flooring shall be clean, fully enclosed, weather tight with the permanent HVAC operational and other finish materials installed.
 
          B.During installation period, provide uniform lighting at area of installation equivalent to finished project lighting. Prevent traffic from entering area where flooring is being installed or is curing.
 
          1.8WARRANTY

          A.Warranty: Provide manufacturer's standard warranty, including the following:

          1.9EXTRA MATERIALS
 
          A.Deliver to Owner extra materials from same production run as products installed. Package products with protective covering and identify with descriptive labels. Comply with Division 1 closeout submittals requirements.
          1.Quantity: Furnish quantity of flooring units equal to 2 percent of amount installed.
          2.Delivery, Storage and Protection: Comply with Owner's requirements for delivery, storage and protection of extra materials.

Consult with manufacturer literature for details of substrate compatibility. Recommended Applications: Electronic Assembly, Test, Repair and Handling, Data and Telephony Closets, BGA rework, Shipping, Receiving, Warehouses, Leased spaces, Pallet drop zones, Box build, SMT and any space requiring permanent low cost ESD flooring.           A.Poured Epoxy Floor Topping System:

          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates are within manufacturer's specified tolerances and have been prepared in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
 
          B.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, do not proceed with installation. Notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation immediately. Commencement of full installation represents acceptance of existing substrate conditions.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Prepare acceptable substrates using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate. Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Delete if concrete substrates not required.
 
          B.Concrete Substrates: The Contractor shall verify to the Owner and installer a minimum of 30 days prior to the scheduled flooring installation the following substrate conditions. All substrate testing shall be documented and submitted to the Architect and Owner before commencement of the flooring installation.
          1.Verify that substrates are dry and free of curing compounds, sealers, and hardeners.
          2.Remove substrate coatings and other substances that are incompatible with adhesives and that contain soap, wax, oil, or silicone, using mechanical methods recommended by manufacturer.
          3.Alkalinity and Adhesion Testing: Perform tests recommended by manufacturer. Proceed with installation only after substrates pass testing.
          4.Moisture Testing: Perform tests recommended by manufacturer. Proceed with installation only after substrates pass testing.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and warranty conditions and to meet specified performance requirements. Install flooring with uniform appearance and in proper relationship with adjacent work.
 
          B.Test electrical properties of flooring in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Correct any defects prior to Substantial Completion.
 
          3.4PROTECTION
 
          A.Protect installed products, including but not limited to finished flooring system, from damage until Substantial Completion.
