          A.System Description:
          1.The products described herein, manufactured by Rocky Mountain Elevator Products, is a private residence home elevator designed and dimensioned to provide access to all levels to the home based on the individual's requirements.
          2.Designs, clearances, workmanship and material, unless specifically accepted, shall be in accordance with all codes having legal jurisdiction.
          3.Load ratings and safety factors shall meet or exceed those specified by all governing agencies with jurisdiction and shall be certified by a professional engineer.
          4.Elevator shall be subject to applicable state, local and city approval prior to installation and subject to inspection after installation. Determination of and adherence to these regulations is the responsibility of the elevator contractor.
          5.Welders certified in accordance with requirements of AWS D1.1 shall perform all welding of all parts.

          2.115 VAC, single phase, 20 amp, 60 Hz power circuit in the controller area for the car lights.
          3.Telephone circuit in the controller area.
 
          PART 3EXECUTION
 
          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly constructed and prepared.
 
          B.Use field dimensions and approved manufacturer's shop drawings to examine substrates, supports and other conditions under which this work is to be performed. Do not proceed with work until unsatisfactory conditions are corrected.
 
          C.If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect in writing of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
 
          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions approved submittals and in proper relationship with adjacent construction. The home elevator shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and as specified and approved by architect. Coordinate with hoistway doors installed by the Contractor.
 
          3.4FIELD QUALITY CONTROL
 
          A.Field Inspection: Coordinate field inspection in accordance with appropriate sections in Division 01.
          ** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Include if manufacturer provides field quality control with onsite personnel for instruction or supervision of product installation, application, erection or construction. Delete if not required.
 
          B.Manufacturer's Services: Coordinate manufacturer's services in accordance with appropriate sections in Division 01.
 
          C.The elevator contractor shall make a final check of the elevator's operation with the Owner or Owner's representative present prior to turning the elevator over for use. The elevator contractor shall determine that operating and safety devices are functioning properly.
 
          3.5CLEANING AND PROTECTION
 
          A.Clean products in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
 
          B.Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
