XPS Type VII 60 PSI Board
Kingspan OPTIM-R is an optimum performance next generation insulation product. It is a rigid vacuum insulation panel comprising a microporous core, which is evacuated, encased and sealed in a thin, gas-tight envelope to give outstanding R-values, and an ultra-thin insulation solution.
With an R-value as high as R-56.782 for a 2″ panel thickness, Kingspan OPTIM-R provides an insulating performance that is up to 5 x better than other commonly available building insulation materials. The high level of thermal efficiency with minimal thickness, achieved by Kingspan OPTIM-R, can provide solutions for applications where a lack of construction depth or space is an issue.
Kingspan OPTIM-R is available in a range of board dimensions in different thicknesses to suit various applications, including roofs, walls and floors and in OEM systems.

PB6FA is an excellent choice for re-roofing single-ply membranes. The board's install time and ease of use give you the necessary tools for a lower installed cost. And the 20psi extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam provides durability and high moisture resistance. PB6HD is available as 4′ x 8′ sheet or 4′ x 50′ fanfold bundles.
When you need to re-roof, nothing works better as a cover board than GreenGuard® PB6. With an extruded polystyrene (XPS) core and high-impact polystyrene facers that do no delaminate, this board provides high moisture resistance and resistance to puncture. The 50 ft. fanfold bundles are light weight and easy to install, adding only 1/10 lb. per square foot. The result is a smooth surface, even over most gravel-surfaced roofs.
PB6W is an excellent choice for re-roofing with mechanically attached single-ply membranes. The board''s high compressive strength helps to create a smooth surface, even over most gravel surfaced roofs. And the extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam core provides high moisture resistance. PB6W can be used under mechanically attached or loose-laid and ballasted single-ply applications. It is both UL and FM approved. The 50′ fanfold bundles are easy to install and lightweight, adding only 1/10 lb. per sq. ft. With 3 lb. density foam and 3-ply facers that do not delaminate, PB6W delivers solid installed performance.
Kingspan GreenGuard® Seam Tape adds an extra layer of air and moisture protection to the structure. 1 7/8″ wide Kingspan GreenGuard® Standard Seam Tape is reecommended for flat surfaces. 3″ wide Kingspan GreenGuard® Custom Seam Tape is recommended for for uneven surfaces, such as Kingspan GreenGuard® RainDrop® Building Wrap.Both tapes stick tight in all seasons, even when the temperature drops below freezing. Long-lasting UV stabilizers help them resist the deteriorating effects of the sun. The tapes can also be used to repair rips in damaged insulation and building wrap, eliminating waste and saving money.
GreenGuard R-5 XPS Insulation Board is available as square-edge (CM) or shiplap-edge (SL) sheets.

Kingspan Insulation offers a complete product line providing all materials, tools and accessories necessary for the effective fabrication of phenolic ductwork from The Kingspan KoolDuct System. Kingspan Insulation also provides The Kingspan KoolDuct System Training Course, which is administered through appointed Kingspan KoolDuct System Delivery Partners and selected ITI training facilities.
The fiber-free insulation core of Kingspan KoolDuct panels (the duct wall material) minimizes the risk of loose fibers entering the airstream through the ductwork. This can provide better indoor air quality (IAQ) for building occupants compared with other insulants, which can produce loose fibers when in direct contact with the airstream. Kingspan KoolDuct panels are available in 7/8'" and 1 3/16'" thicknesses with installed and out of package R-values of R-6.0 and R-8.0 (respectively).
GreenGuard Attic Rafter Vents are designed to install between rafters to prevent clogging of the path from soffits to the attic wnen insulation is blown in. For finished attics, they can be attached behind the insulated area to create a backer for insulation and a channel for air movement through to the top venting area.
