Cabling Distribution Systems
For over 25 years FreeAxez has pioneered simplifying the flexible work environment in abroad range of spaces including offices, laboratories, broadcast studios, airports, control rooms, etc., around the world. Its patented flagship product, Gridd, provides buildings the ability to route and hide all information cables in an accessible and adaptable, low-profile, all-steel structure right under their feet. This tool-free installation can also distribute electrical energy using Gridd Power - a modular 50-amp electrical power bus system. Using the Gridd Mobile augmented reality app, technicians and facility teams can view cable layouts through the flooring, allowing for quick changes and modifications.
Gridd is: Made in the USA, UL listed in the US & Canada, GreenSpec listed, and meets the requirements of IAPMO Uniform ES, ASHRAE 90.1, USGBC, the IBC, ASTM E84, and ISO9001:2015. FreeAxez provides complete design assistance with installation plans for Gridd, GriddPower, and cable infrastructure. Integrated, modular, and accessible - that's Gridd.

FreeAxez' patented flagship product, Gridd, provides buildings the ability to route and hide all information cables in an accessible and adaptable, low-profile, all-steel structure right under their feet. The Gridd system is a Whole Building Design approach that integrates cable distribution technology throughout the entire building infrastructure, enabling a building to adapt to inevitable technology changes, remain highly functional and operational, and saves money at every stage of its life cycle. Gridd offers seamless cable integration to support your power and cable infrastructure with accessories that adapt to fast-changing technology.
Gridd 40 at only 1.6" (40 mm) is the lowest height option of the Gridd system. The Gridd 40 system has a load capacity of 2,000lbs - 100 PSF. Ceiling height or transition limitations are best accommodated with Gridd 40. ADA compliant ramp at 1:12 only 19"long. 1:20 slope is 33".
The Gridd 40 Reinforced system offers the same benefits of the standard Gridd 40 system but is reinforced accommodate “heavy" floor load conditions as by the International Building Code (IBC). The reinforced system is often used in high traffic areas such as museums, airports, and other public spaces. The Gridd 40 Reinforced system has an increased load capacity from the standard Gridd 40 system (3,000lbs -250PSF).
Gridd 70 at 2.75" (70mm) is the highest height option of the Gridd system. The Gridd 70 system has a load capacity of 2,000lbs - 100 PSF. Intense cable distribution requirements may best be served with Gridd 70. Gridd 70 has longer ramps (1:12 slopeis 33″, 1:20 is 55″). Gridd Power is compatible with Gridd 70

Gridd Power is an electrical energy distribution system consisting of power tracks and modular components that provide easy-to-install connections for wall receptacles, powered furniture, floor receptacles, demountable walls, and other constituent electrical modules within the finished interior environment.
Gridd Mobile is a natural extension of Gridd and Gridd Power. Gridd Mobile is a revolutionary app for smart devices which incorporates Augmented Reality (AR), and all the information needed about a facility's cable and power management system.

In today's modern workplace environment, change is constant. Technology is upgraded in commercial offices; people shuffle around, and processes are streamlined. This is where a Gridd adaptive cable management system provides the flexibility that keeps your business nimble.
It provides advantages in flexibility, aesthetics, ease of access, organization, sound quality and sustainability. Hence, Gridd saves on operating costs and eliminates the need to run power. Also, it helps keep costs down on power to voice and data cabling in ceilings and down power poles. Gridd pays for itself time and again as your space needs change and grow.
Renovating and upgrading older buildings is often avoided due to the difficulty in running cables for power, voice, and data technology. Floor trenches and poke-throughs for wires inhibit growth and change and compromise a building's structural integrity.
A Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system solves this problem because it does not attach to the subfloor or walls. Instead, it preserves the integrity of historic structures because the uniquely designed, gravity held, Gridd access floor system lays on top of existing terrazzo, marble, or wood floors without damaging them. Changes are quick and easy to make by hand and the system can go with you if you move.
Modern conference rooms rely on technology. And business meetings include a collection of phone lines, cell phone chargers, projector cables and laptop power cords that create clutter and tripping hazards.
Emergency operations and 911 police call centers include plasma screens, audio/visual equipment, computers, processors, recorders, security checkpoints and badge readers. All these devices require power and data cabling that must be constantly changed.
A Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system provides a flexible and high capacity solution. It neatly organizes cabling that you can change in minutes without tools to make floor plan modifications.
Libraries are quiet learning environments. And today they include a myriad of computers, workstations and terminals that require power and data connectivity. In addition, circulation desks, research stations and seating desks require power and data ports to access modern technology.
A Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system provides superior cabling management that eliminates the clutter caused by running cabling over ceilings and down power poles. It is acoustically engineered to be solid and virtually silent. And outlets for computers and power can be relocated anywhere in the floor in minutes.
Many cables and connections are needed in the well area of modern courtrooms for attorney's laptop computers, microphones, projectors, video screens and A/V equipment. And yet, this confined space must remain clutter-free.
Today's computer room flooring design focuses on optimizing connectivity and cable distribution. Many Rack systems constantly change wiring requirements. Therefore, dozens of data lines that are entering each server must also be accessed.
So, you should use a Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system. It enables changes to be made faster. Also, it provides a low profile, high capacity system for organized, wire management. Furthermore, it looks and feels like a solid floor delivering excellent acoustics. Most importantly, it gives quick access for moves and changes without tools.
Medical facilities rely on visual display and patient monitoring with cameras, x-ray,viewers, and monitors that are continually upgraded. A Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system provides a wiring infrastructure that is flexible to the constantly changing technology in hospitals and medical facilities.
Museum displays and exhibits are constantly set-up, taken down and re-configured. And this involves rearranging lighting, electronics, data and audio-visual cabling.
A Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system neatly organizes cabling and lets you quickly and easily reconfigure space in minutes without tools. It provides maximum flexibility with minimum downtime and without shutting down the facility.
Gaming equipment and surveillance systems in casinos are regularly upgraded.Equipment is moved and floor plan layouts changed as repositioning takes place. So access to power must change too.
This is where a Gridd low profile adaptive cabling distribution system makes daily casino operations seamless. It lets you quickly and easily direct power and data to where you position your equipment, rather than force you to position equipment near stationary outlets. All without using tools.
