Fixed Bollards
State Designed DS22 & DS25 Security Bollards are an excellent perimeter security choice anywhere where K12 or K4 anti-ram protection in required. The DS22 state designed security bollards comply with the toughest U.S. Department of State (DOS) crash-test ratings. Fixed DS22 bollards provide around-the-clock protection against vehicular threats and are engineered to meet up to K12 (M50 equivalent) performance criteria (15,000 lb vehicle at 50 mph).

All configurations in the series require between 6"-10" of total excavation, enabling you to install a crash test certified security product at a fraction of the depth required by traditional products.
Ameristar's Ultra Shallow Series is available in 3 crash test certified configurations. The first is crash test cerified as M50/P1 (aka Gladiator) which is a K12/L3 equivalent rating. The Patriot utilizes a hydraulically actuated structural beam that is recessed flush with the roadway when granting vehicle access. It also has a rapid rate of deployment between 3 and 5 seconds and a full guard height of 36". The crash beam barrier's primary excavation is outside the roadway opening, and minimal excavation is required across the roadway, which avoids most underground utilities and obstructions.
Cityscape barrier gate is perfect for urban environments with a heavy amount of pedestrian traffic and an irregular need to allow vehicular access. The aesthetically appealing design blends well in urban areas, unlike most gates or barriers that have a bland industrial appearance.
The Cityscape gate can be installed using shallow mount technology and is lightweight, yet remarkably strong. The barrier arm is a multi-purpose entry drop-arm that controls traffic while providing an anti-ram obstacle to protect from potential vehicular threats. We offer two different crash rated barrier arm options - the M550 is K12/L3 rated and M530 is rated as M30/P1.
The M530 has two successfully tested designs. The 22-foot barrier design does not require excavation across the roadway, whereas the 12-foot barrier design uses a shallow excavation across the roadway for a monolithic installation.
