Access Control Systems

The 2112 is a video entry system designed for residential applications. With the DKS 2112 app and a smartphone, homeowners can see who is at their front door or gate and easily grant or deny them entry, and they can lock their door or gate open as needed.  With the broadcast calling feature, up to four (4) phones will ring when the call button is pressed.  The 2112 can control up to three (3) entry points and uses an internet or cellular connection.

The 2108 eVolve is our most advanced and versatile residential Video Entry System (video calling requires the DKS Resident App be installed on your smartphone), allowing the homeowner to program and control their system from virtually anywhere. The 2108 control dashboard is browser based, so all that's needed is an internet connection and a laptop, tablet or smartphone to access the system settings.

The Access Plus line combines essential features of our most versatile solutions with the ease and accessibility of computer programming and control. Each Access Plus Series unit allows voice and data connection over either cellular (cellular adapter required), VoIP or POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service). DKS offers easy ways to connect fast using the DKS IM Server and DKS Cellular services. With the easy to use Access Plus Account Manager programming software, you can customize the system immediately: set up time zones, add or delete access codes, set up email notifications, and even lock or un-lock a door with the click of the mouse button.

The Model 1802 Access Plus provides voice communication from the entry point between the resident/tenant and guest.

DoorKing's 1802 and 1802-EPD (Electronic Programmable Directory) are ideal telephone entry systems that are loaded with features and are suited for applications that have limited space and can be used in residential as well as commercial applications. The 1802 is designed for applications that do not require a directory, or in applications where a separate directory exist, while the 1802-EPD includes a built-in electronic directory.   Visitors are easily identified by voice communication and can be granted or denied access directly from a touch-tone telephone. Please note that the 1802-111 post mount kit is required if the 1802 will be post mounted.

The 1812 Series is a unique Telephone Intercom System that allows homeowners to use their telephone as an intercom to speak to a guest at a front door or gate without having to pay for an additional telephone line at their home. With its “intercom mode" programming feature, the 1812 can also be connected to a PBX or KSU type system, making it ideal for small businesses to control access through a single door or gate.

Updated version of the Classic with an upgraded processor, a new high fidelity digital voice circuit, better volume control, a lighted push-button, and additional call out  to up to 27 telephone numbers. 

The Model 1816 Telephone Intercom System is a unique communication and access control device that provides two-way voice communication and control of a main entry door through the resident's own telephone without the need of a dedicated Central Office (C.O.) phone line. This capability eliminates the need for costly hard-wired intercom systems, monthly line charges and equipment lease payments. The 1816 also provides communication and control of the door even if the resident does not have central office phone service.  The 1816 is ideal for colleges wishing to control access into student Resident Halls, apartment buildings and office buildings.

The DKS 1819 is an Information Telephone that is suited for applications that require only a single phone number to be called. Visitors simply press the single CALL button to establish communication and are easily identified by voice communication. Access can be granted or denied directly from a touch-tone telephone.

The 1834 90 Series stores up to 3000 phone numbers and can control two (2) access points.  The 90 Series housing offers a streamlined look, has enhanced locking and weather sealing and provides easy internal installation of optional components such as a card reader*, LCD heater and TCP/IP adapter for a direct internet connection.  The 1834 is still available in the original 80 Series (surface and flush mount) housings, click the button below to view the 80 Series product page.

*While a card reader can be installed in the 1834 cabinet, the 1834 does not have a card reader input.  This card reader would need to be connected to a seperate access controller.  If an integrated card reader is desired, look at the 1835 or 1837 systems.

The DKS 1175 Overhead Gate Operator is designed for high traffic underground parking applications serving gated communities, apartment complexes, commercial buildings and industrial sites. An optional cover is available. This Operator is not designed for residential applications and should never be used to operate overhead sectional garage doors.

The unique configuration of these Operators allows the gate arm to rotate from underneath the Operator, enabling the arm to attach to the bottom rail of the gate, were it is virtually unseen from outside the gate. The fully enclosed Operators prevent water from contaminating the output shaft, bearings, and electronics.  Additionally, the frame is built from G90 galvanized steel to prevent rusting. These Operators can be installed directly on a concrete pad, or post-mounted to meet any installation requirements

DKS 6400 installs in-ground, making it virtually invisible – and quiet – satisfying the most sophisticated automation needs without being detrimental to the original gate design. Invisible and powerful, the motor/drive mechanism is constructed in die-cast aluminum with a special corrosion-proof treatment, and because the drive unit is gear-driven, there is no need to worry about hydraulic leaks, check valves, or pumps. 

The 6500 Series Operators are designed to operate Vehicular Swing Gates in residential, commercial and industrial applications for both single and bi-parting gates. The Operator swings gates 90 degrees in approximately 12-14 seconds.

The DKS DC Swing Gate Operator is perfect where backup power is critical, as it will keep running even when AC power has been lost. The solar power version is ideal in applications where AC power is unavailable, allowing you to add your own solar system for power, or you can choose the DKS solar kit.

The 6500 Series Operators are designed to operate Vehicular Swing Gates in residential, commercial and industrial applications for both single and bi-parting gates. The Operator swings gates 90 degrees in approximately 12-14 seconds.

DKS 6004 is ideal to operate swing gates that are mounted on large columns. The 6004 mounts directly on the column and simplifies installation by eliminating the need to cut niches on the column, and there is no need for concrete pads. Using a strong screw drive system, there is no need to worry about hydraulic leaks, check valves, or pumps. The 6004 features a keyed release system that allows the gate to be moved by hand if a system failure should occur.

DKS 6006 Swing Gate Operator offers convenience and reliability in a compact, aesthetic design.  This operator mounts directly to your gate and pilaster, simplifying installation and not requiring concrete mounting pads.  The screw-driven action is powered by a 24 Volt DC motor, eliminating the worry over hydraulic leaks, check valves or pumps.  Built-in no-contact magnetic limit switches precisely control the start / stop speed of the operator, all powered by a microprocessor control board.

DKS 9200 Series Operators are designed for maximum security applications only – such as industrial locations, loading docks, factories, airport security areas, sea ports, etc. Because of the need to prioritize security in these applications, these operators are designed for fail-secure operation and require manual operation to open the gate in the event of a power outage. To enhance security, these operators feature an anti-tailgating circuit and an adjustable partial open feature to help prevent unauthorized vehicle access. In addition, speed controller options allow the user to adjust the gate speed from 1/2 ft/sec up to 4 ft/sec. An Emergency Close feature is available on some models which will close the gate at 4 ft/sec. This assures your security gate is open the absolute minimum amount of time necessary.

The 9024 can run exclusivly on AC power with battery backup, or solely on solar power.

The DKS DC Slide Gate Operator is a great option where backup power is critical, as it's designed to keep running when AC power has been lost. The solar power version is ideal in applications where AC power is unavailable, with the option to add your own solar system for power, or you can use the DKS solar kit.

DKS 9500 series of Vehicular Slide Gate Operators are designed for use on very large and very heavy gates in maximum security applications only. These operators must never be used in applications serving the general public. These heavy duty operators use a high tensile steel alloy roller chain as the pulling medium, which is immune to slippage and the challenges of uneven terrain – and also simplifies installation. User can set the speed of the gate up to 4 ft/sec. (1.2 m/sec.), with an electronic braking option.  ALL 9500 SERIES OPERATOR ORDERS MUST BE COORDINATED THROUGH A DOORKING REGIONAL SALES MANAGER.

Fire and postal lock boxes, guide rollers, Flange Beaing Hinges, Photo Beam, loop wire, reversing edge, plug in loop detectors, endless idler assembly, tandem wheel assembly, 3 button control, prefabricated ground control.

The Model 1601 is for high usage single-lane vehicular traffic control. Typical applications include commercial, industrial, gated communities and apartment complexes. A quick 2.5 second rotation opening time, along with rugged construction and multiple optional features make this 1601 a versatile answer to many parking control problems.  The 1601 is available in white or gun metal gray finish.

These Operators are designed so they can be mounted on either the left or right hand side of the roadway. Battery- powered Convenience Open option available, which provides a method to open the gate if AC power is lost.

The DKS 1603 Barrier Gate Operator Automated Spike System is designed as a modular system, allowing for easy flexibility in different applications and easy installation. The 1603 Operator is designed with many advanced features and mechanically links the Spikes to the Barrier Arm. Ideal for parking lots, rental car agencies, schools, car dealerships, government agencies, or in any application where a higher degree of traffic control is preferred.

Surface and flush mount below ground options available. Surface spikes install easily without trenching and doubles as a speed bump. Spring loaded surface mount available in 3 foot sections, and flush mount below ground assembly available with weighted or spring loaded spikes.

Warning Signs and/or Traffic Signals must always be used in any traffic control application utilizing Traffic Control Spikes.

The Lane Barrier is ideal in applications where a higher degree of vehicle traffic control is desired, but without the expense of bollards, wedges or crash beams – making it ideal for apartment communities, gated condominiums, car rental agencies, parking lots and toll booths.  The lane barrier must be used with the 1603-580 operator (sold separately).

The DKS 1500 Series family of Keypads provides access control for virtually any application where digital code entry is desired, and they are available for stand-alone applications or for connection to an Access Controller. The 1504 model adds an Intercom Substation to the 1506 Series, allowing voice communication via connection to a master Intercom Station.

The 1515 Keypad is ideal for controlling doors or gates. The simple to install and use DKS Manager and User Apps (Android Phones Only) make this Keypad a sure bet for either stand-alone use or as a telephone entry controlled access keypad.

The 1520 provides users with a full feature, single door, stand-alone Access Control System. The 1520 is available with a built-in Proximity Card Reader, or can be ordered as a single door Controller, allowing the user to add their own 26-bit Access Control Device.

The 1524 can be programmed with a handheld programmer or with programming cards, and is available only with a DK Prox Card Reader.

Manage Access Plus systems Relays’ state using either Doorking Server for cellular based systems, or via network for DDNS enabled systems.

Electric Strikes offer an economical way to secure standard doors and are suitable for most cylindrical door locks.

Fail-safe and fail-secure Strikes are available. Electric Deadbolts provide superior security and safety, and include fail-safe operation for doors and gates. Deadbolt options include Lock Sensor, Door Sensor or Lock and Door Sensor models to indicate status of the lock (locked, unlocked) and/or door (open, closed).

The DKS series of Door (DKML) Locks offers a wide range of high-quality electro-magnetic Locks and Brackets to accommodate most access control locking requirements.

Door Locks can be ordered in surface or mortise mount styles, with special options such as LED Lock Status Indicators and a built-in timer for automatic lock reactivation after a preset time.

These magnetic door locks are rated for indoor use only.

The DKS series of Gate (DKGL) Locks offers a wide range of high-quality electro-magnetic Locks and Brackets to accommodate most access control locking requirements.

Gate Locks are designed for outdoor applications. The 1200 lb (544 kg) Lock provides an electrical enclosure with pre-drilled and tapped conduit holes on the top, bottom, side, and back, providing easy wiring and installation. The 600 lb (272 kg) Lock includes a built-in cable assembly for all wiring connections.

MICROPLUS® RF products provide you with the highest level of security available. Our coding and encryption schemes are not shared with other producers (such as automobile manufacturers), resulting in Transmitter codes that cannot be duplicated or copied.

MICROCLIK® RF Controls are designed to provide convenience and security, but do not have copy-proof encoding schemes found in the MICROPLUS®­ product line. This allows MICROCLIK Transmitter codes to be copied into the built-in Transmitters found in many luxury automobiles, however we do not guarantee this commonality or functionality.

DoorKing ProxPlus™ Secure Card Readers are available for those applications that require a higher level of security than standard proximity card readers, and cards offer. ProxPlus Secure cards are programmed with a unique identifier, making them extremely secure and difficult to duplicate. And, since the DoorKing card reader outputs the card code in a 26-bit Wiegand format, they are compatible with almost any access control system on the market. Higher security IS within your reach – now with DoorKing ProxPlus Secure.

DKS offers a full line of Proximity Card Readers in different mounting styles to meet your exact needs. The Readers are sealed in epoxy, making them vandal-resistant and are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.  We also offer Mifare Card Readers for those applications using Mifare Classic cards.

The Model 1000 Power Inverter provides backup power for a single-gated Access Control System when primary AC power fails. Maintain a fully operational Access Control System during power outages and brown-outs. Ideal for residential and commercial applications with a single-gate system.
