RediFrame is designed to sleeve the wall, becoming an integral part of the wall system. In comparative impact testing, 18-gauge RediFrame withstood 850 impacts, this is over 500 more than drywall hollow metal. The difference is the Dunbarton anchoring system. Not only does RediFrame sleeve the wall, but it anchors to the wall using at least 30 fasteners through the face of the frame opening. Hollow metal anchors to the wall from the frame throat using only 6 to 8 anchors per opening that hold the frame away from the inherent strength of the wall.

Rediframe FX Series, or Rediflex for short, is an adjustable throat steel door frame designed for applications where varying wall sizes must be accommodated and for prehanging. Especially suited for interior or exterior applications (new construction and light commercial) such as hotel/motel, assisted living, residential, multi-family, offices, condominiums, hospitality, assisting living, dormitories, and public housing. Embossed 90 minute neutral and positive pressure fire label wood or steel stud. Approvals available for HVHZ and Wind Zone 4 per ASTM E1996. Demountable without damage to the finished wall, door or frame.

SlimDoor® has engineered single-panel full-louvered doors in 5 styles, using galvanneal steel or cold-rolled steel, for your furnace, water heater, or utility access needs.

Safety - These doors meet or exceed testing codes and ventilation standards.

Installation - They are easy to install, with no frame required. They are available with pivot hinges, allowing them to fit into a less-than-perfect space, or two hinges with six #8 wood screws. Optional locks are now available to secure your furnace doors.

Durability - SlimDoor® are carefully manufactured to provide years of maintenance-free use. The electrostatically-applied enamel is standard, and galvannealed steel is available for areas of high humidity.

Finishes
SlimDoor doors are available with a top-of-the-line factory prefinish.  Save time and money with a strong long lasting prefinished frame.  Choose from one of Dunbarton's many standard colors or select a custom color of your choice.

SlimDoor is finished in a state-of-the-art paint conveyor line with electrostatically applied, baked-on enamel.  This ensures complete coverage of the frame with a “best in the industry" paint finish.  No exposed edges of the steel or hardware cutouts compared to our competition.  Dunbarton also offers an option of A40 galvannealed steel that combined with our factory paint system gives maximum rust protection.

The Dunbarton factory-applied paint finish meets or exceeds the 500-hour salt spray test per ASTM–B117-97.  This is four times the requirement of hollow metal frames per SDI (Steel Door Institute) of 125 hours.


Dunbarton Painted finishes also passed a 700-hour humidity test per ASTM–D1735-87.

Dunbarton frames and casing are designed to work together to offer the best commercial, industrial, and multi-family package. We offer casing in steel, aluminum, and S56 Colonial. However, you also have the option to use any wood trim you prefer. Additionally, all trims are available in our standard colors or custom color-matched to meet your job specifications!

he purpose of a threshold is to close the gap between the bottom of a door and the floor. Thresholds are used with door bottoms and weatherstripping to seal the opening, preventing air, rain, and snow from entering.  Dunbarton has four standard styles with two extenders for the fixed inswing, with other options available.

Dunbarton's 90-minute fire-rated weatherstripping is available in three colors: white, brown, and beige. The easy-to-install kerf weatherstripping comes ready to install on-site or is available pre-installed. Be sure to specify weatherstripping when ordering kerf frames.
