Made from 100% recycled fiber materials, Insulayment is excellent for under nail down and glue down wood and engineered wood floors.

It was designed as an isolation barrier to dampen impact noise going from an upper living area to a lower living area boasting excellent IIC and STC scores.

The randomly air-laid filaments create a capillary affect to cushion the floor and absorb impact sound. The 0.11" thickness helps smooth out little subfloor imperfections.
