Project Name and Location: NAWIN, Nasugbu Bay, Phillipines
The Shore-side at Nawin in Batangas reimagines the port with a mixed-use cliffside development that weaves programs into landscaped pockets across a sloped platform, aiming to revive the bay as a beloved waterfront destination.
Drawing on marina precedents from Antigua to Villefranche-sur-Mer, the plan emphasizes walkable harbors that enhance circulation, retail, and leisure, while integrating diverse building typologies, facades, and materials.
At its heart, Marina Town combines residential villas, garden towers, hillside residences, shops, restaurants, co-working spaces, and a striking yacht club of five pyramidal volumes.
Complementing these are playful Waterfront Pavilions arranged like a water lily orchestra, offering shaded promenades and public gathering spaces.
Looking ahead, the plan scales northward with a hospitality cluster to expand tourism and short-stay opportunities.
