For floating wood and laminate floors, QuietWalk is composed of 94% recycled fibers that scores high IIC and STC numbers to deaden sound, manages harmful moisture, and can satisfy LEED points. Installed on top of gypsum concrete and beneath the flooring, QuietWalk performs. Promoted as an upgrade underlayment taking the place of poly foams, it doesn't carry the heavy upgrade price when compared to cork or rubber.
