The Enclosed Lift is A18.1 code-compliant and designed for ease of installation. It can be used as a residential liftor in a commercial application.
When used in private residences, the Enclosure vertical platform lift requires slightly more space than an Unenclosed lift. They travel heights up to 168″. You may see an Enclosed lift in commercial settings, including parking structures, airport terminal lifts, and providing access to stadium seating.
The Enclosed plexi-glass vertical platform lifts are used in the same way as the enclosed lift, with plexi-glass infill enclosure wall panels. It requires slightly more space than an unenclosed lift and travel heights up to 168″.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use in Acme Screw and Hydraulic drive systems.

An Enclosed platform lift is designed to meet the requirements of ASME A18.1, so all platform sizes and running clearances have been taken into consideration, and the lift constructed accordingly.
The entrances to the lift are incorporated into the lift's enclosure, which requires you to provide only the required structural support and entry and exit points.
While an Enclosed wheelchair lift may have a higher upfront cost than a Shaftway Lift, it's essential to account for the cost of construction of the shaft for a fair comparison.
