QUALITY ASSURANCE
Manufacturer Qualifications:
The Manufacturer is to be a current Certified Welding Fabricator as defined by either AWS or CWB, or both.
Comply with structural welding codes that are applicable to their products or materials.
Welding Codes: As produced by AWS or CSA.
Installer Qualifications: Company specializing in performing Work of this section with documented experience for projects of similar scope and complexity.
Factory trained and certified by the Manufacturer.

PRE-INSTALLATION CONFERENCE
Convene a conference approximately two weeks before the scheduled commencement of the Work. Attendees shall include Architect, Contractor and trades involved. The agenda shall include schedule, responsibilities, critical path items and approvals.
DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Deliver telescoping stands in manufacturers packaging clearly labeled with manufacturer name and content.
Deliver at a scheduled time for installation that will not interfere with other trades operating in the building whenever and wherever possible.
Store and handle bleacher equipment in a manner to prevent damage and in compliance with manufacturer's written instructions and recommendations.
Protect from damage due to weather, excessive temperature, and construction operations.
PROJECT CONDITIONS
Field Measurements: Coordinate actual dimensions for construction affecting telescoping stands installation with accurate field measurements before fabrication.

Live Load: 120 lbs. per linear foot (1.75 kN per m) on seats and decking.
Uniformly Distributed Live Load: Not less than 100 lbs. per square foot (4.79 kN per sq m) of gross horizontal projection.
Parallel Sway Load: 24 lbs. per linear foot (0.35 kN per m) of row combined with the Uniformly Distributed Live Load as specified.

EXECUTION
EXAMINATION
Do not begin installation until the substrates have been properly constructed and prepared.
Examine areas where telescoping stands are to be installed, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for installation tolerances and other conditions affecting performance of the Work.

ADJUSTING AND CLEANING
On completion of installation, lubricate, test, and adjust each telescoping stand unit so that it operates according to manufacturer's written operating instructions.
Clean installed telescoping stands on exposed surfaces. Touch up shop-applied finishes or replace components as required to restore damaged or soiled areas.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Service Capability: Show proof of full-time service capability by factory certified technicians directly employed by the installer.
A four to eight-hour maximum on-site repair response is required during normal working hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays (excluding holidays).
All Full-Time Service Personnel shall be Factory Authorized and Trained.
Provide proof of Service Capability and a list of service parts regularly maintained in inventory.
