QUALITY ASSURANCE

Source Limitations: Provide each type of product from a single manufacturing source to ensure uniformity.

PRE-INSTALLATION CONFERENCE

DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging in the shade and on a flat surface until ready for installation.
Boxed product should be carried on edge by two people to minimize damage.
Do not store product in a location where ambient temperatures may exceed 120 degrees F (49 degrees C).
PROJECT CONDITIONS
Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's recommended limits.

FASTENERS
Siding: Refer to Installation Instructions at https://www.jainbuildingproducts.com for further guidelines for each type of siding material.
Trim and Accessories: Provide stainless steel or other corrosion resistant fasteners as recommended by manufacturer and approved by the Architect. If desired, touch up the nail heads to maintain a consistent finish.
EXECUTION
EXAMINATION
Do not begin installation until the substrates have been properly constructed and prepared.
If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect in writing of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
PREPARATION
Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
INSTALLATION
Install in accordance with manufacturer's latest published instructions, approved submittals, and in proper relationship with adjacent construction.
Installation must comply with local building codes and regulations.
PROTECTION
Protect installed products until completion of the project.
Touch up, repair, or replace damaged products before Final Completion.
CLEANING
After completion of installation, remove all debris created by siding application, and dispose of properly.
