Speccobond is a re-emulsifiable copolymer solution for priming, bonding or modifying cement based coatings, grouts or mortars. As a primer, Speccobond exhibits a high level of tact and is recommended for use with Speccrete HF-500 Floor Top and HF-1000 underlayments, gypsum base underlayments, as well as all Speccrete Stampable Overlay and Speccrete Vertifaux vertical carving mortar. Speccobond will seal the concrete substrate preventing water loss and resulting shrinkage in the topping used. Speccobond will greatly improve bond and flexural strengths of the topping which will increase long term durability. Speccobond can also be added integrally as an admixture to Speccrete Vertifaux for applications requiring exterior applications. The addition of Speccobond into cement mixes provides reduced water absorption which greatly improves freeze-thaw cycling stability and chance of spalling.
Concrete Earth U-Mix 202 Injection Resin is a single component, hydrophilic, low viscosity polyurethane resin used for sealing water leaks through cracks in concrete structures. U-Mix 202 Injection Resin reacts with water and will vary in consistency from either resilient, rubber-like foam to a flexible gel. This reaction produces a grout capable of absorbing water up to 800% of its own mass which then deflects any excessive water away from penetrating into the treated structure. This unique feature allows U-Mix 202 Injection Resin to be used for situations involving large water inflow applications, specifically manhole joints. Typical application uses include municipal and utility facilities for repair of precast manhole joints, brick manholes, or sewer pipes, as well as pedestrian and automotive tunnels, concrete dams or powerhouse galleys for curtain injection repairs or gel encapsulation needs.
DRYCRETE penetrates deeply into concrete and forms precipitate, a gel-like compound, in the capillary voids upon contact with the always present free alkalis. The precipitate density creates pore networks of exact uniform-sized porosity with microscopic pore sizes. As the gel is formed, it causes polymer cross linking and branching, encouraging polymer particle and strand connection. This creates very strong polymer chains, providing extra strength and durability to become permanent and insoluble.
