Algoma Hardwoods' Commercial Wood Doors provide a high quality yet value driven alternative to Algoma's Architectural Doors. Made to the same exacting standards as Algoma's Architectural Doors, the Commercial series uses an alternate construction technology and is available in a limited number of veneer and fire-rating options.

Algoma's Commercial Doors meet the Window and Door Manufacturers' (WDMA) Extra Heavy Duty level and offer Algoma's "Limited Lifetime" warranty. These doors are ideal for commercial environments where budgets might dictate less-expensive options, e.g. retail, office building, churches, lodging, etc.

Artisan Doors from Algoma Hardwoods offer a true "value-engineered" cost-saving alternative to traditional stile and rail doors. Built to the same exacting standards and quality levels for which Algoma Hardwoods is known, the Artisan® Door series can offer meaningful dollar savings (20% to 50% under true stile and rail doors) while offering aesthetics that will satisfy the owner or architect looking for a stile and rail appearance. The Artisan® Door series is available in a variety of configurations and veneers, with ratings to 90 minutes, both positive and neutral pressure.

The Artisan SF Door series from Algoma Hardwoods offers a cost-effective alternative to the traditional 90 minute (or 45 or 60 minute) stile and rail door. Using a sketch face veneer assembly and the recessed mouldings of the Artisan Door series, the Artisan SF Door series simulates the look and matches the performance of rated stile and rail doors, at a significantly lower price per door-cost per project. The Artisan SF Door is 1-3/4" thick for all ratings.

Algoma's Lead-Lined Architectural Doors provides hospitals, clinics and laboratories with safety, confidence and protection against X-Ray transmission, while offering a beautiful appearance. Our lead-lined doors are made with structural composite lumber core (SCLC) with lead applied to both sides of the core to a total thickness range of 1/8" to 1/16" (determined by specification). Algoma's Lead-Lined Doors offer the same broad range of veneer options as Algoma's Architectural range of flush wood doors.

Algoma offers High Pressure Decorative Laminate (HPDL), more commonly known as "Plastic," doors. These doors are often specified where absolute face aesthetic uniformity is desired, or in certain contexts where there's a particular interest in ease-of-cleaning, such as in hospitals and clinics.

Algoma's HPDL doors are available in a broad range of design options using laminates from respected partners and manufacturers such as Wilson Art, Formica, Nevamar, Pionite and Abet Lamineti.

Algoma's HPDL doors offer the same "Lifetime in the Opening" warranty of all of Algoma's other Architectural Doors.

Algoma's RhinoDoor® series is designed for interior door needs in environments likely to expose doors to high levels of traffic, abuse, impact, or other potentially damaging conditions. RhinoDoor® will offer the aesthetics for which Algoma Hardwoods' quality wood doors are known, combined with the added wear, impact and scratch resistance associated with high-impact resistant PVC/Acrylic skins. These skins have proven themselves over time in other applications exposed to high-traffic "wear and tear conditions," e.g. wall protection, wainscoting, handrails, etc. Resistant to the "dings and dents" common to such environments, the RhinoDoor® can offer extended product life and reduced repair and maintenance costs, all while maintaining a pleasing, attractive complement to the interior dA©cor in which it's used.
