The Shield®
THE SHIELD® boasts an impressive array of crash ratings, including ASTM F2656 M50-P1, ASTM F2656 M40-P1, and ASTM F2656 M30-P1. Additionally, our ASTM F2656 M30/P1 model is available with a SHALLOW FOUNDATION (SF) option, perfect for sites with high water tables or underground utilities that restrict deeper excavation.
As of February 1, 2009, the United States Department of State (DOS) transitioned to evaluating anti-ram barriers exclusively under the ASTM F2656 Standard Test Method. Only barriers with ASTM ratings of M30 P1, M40 P1, and M50 P1 are considered for approval at DOS facilities. THE SHIELD® meets these stringent criteria and is deployed in numerous high-threat level facilities both domestically and internationally.

Our construction process uses a solid weld technique which is far superior in quality to tack welded gates. Each gate must pass a stringent quality control standard before it leaves our factory.
