Basecrete is a waterproofing bond coat/underlayment/micro-topping for use in all applications where a solid and durable waterproof barrier is required. Basecrete will adhere to most surfaces, is resistant to most chemicals and corrosive agents, and can withstand a high degree of movement while maintaining its integrity. Basecrete protects structures and all water containment vessels from corrosives penetrating the substrate.
Simple to mix and even easier to apply, one kit consists of a 5-gallon bucket of our resin and 3-50lb bags of compound.
Kit Includes
5 Gal. Bucket of Liquid Resin
3 - 50 lb. Bags of Cement
Color
Grey Compound | 22kg/ 50lbs Bag
White Compound | 22kg/ 50lbs Bag
Black Compound | 22kg/ 50lbs Bag
Coverage
Coverage is approximate for one coat. Slump can be adjusted to accommodate specific job requirements by adjusting the liquid or the compound.
Trowel: 1 gallon & 1 x 50 Ib bag = 80–100 sq ft @ 1/16" or 40–50 sq ft @ 1/8"
Roller: 5 gallons & 3 x 50 Ib bags = 450–500 sq ft @ 1/16" or 225–250 sq ft @ 1/8"
Squeegee: 5 gallons & 3 x 50 lb bags = 450–500 sq ft @ 1/16" or 225–250 sq ft @ 1/8"
Spray: 5 gallons & 3 x 50 lb bags = 400–500 sq ft @ 1/16" or 225–250 sq ft @ 1/8"
Engineered through years of expertise and scientific innovation, Basecrete Intercept offers the ideal foundation to protect concrete from rust, water infiltration, and chemical exposure. Upon application, it penetrates deeply into the concrete matrix at a molecular level, seeking out and filling all voids within the structure—making it a powerful primary waterproofing solution for any concrete surface.
Prevent concrete problems before they ever start by applying a base coat of Basecrete Intercept to your fresh concrete pour or older existing concrete.
Kit Includes
1x 5 Gal. Bucket (19.9 L)
Coverage
Apply BASECRETE INTERCEPT with a low- pressure pump type sprayer. Apply two coats in quick succession removing excess material immediately. Do NOT allow excess material to dry on surface.
5 gallon (19.9 L): Typical application coverage: 500–700 sq ft.
1 gallon (3.8 L): Typical application coverage: 100–140 sq ft.
Basecrete Xtreme stands out with its 3-in-1 formula, merging advanced material science with practical application, offering superior resistance, versatility, and ease of application. Effective on ICF, EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), CMU wall (Concrete Masonry Unit) or under a stucco system when the concrete substrate requires added strength or durability, it not only waterproofs but also reinforces, using a fiber mesh additive. The additive of the fiber greatly increases flexural strength, which is essential in cooler climates that have freeze thaw cycles. It also improves surface movement like settlement, vibration or tensile strength, increasing durability and impact resistance.
Basecrete Xtreme sets a new benchmark in waterproofing for construction and renovation.
