The wood joist headpiece on the LevelPro pedestals allows for a standard pressure treated wood joist to be securely fastened (screwed) into the side. The LayrForm Planter System is designed as a modular system, LayrForm allows for efficient installation with a clean, near seamless appearance. Planter systems are supplied with an integrated base and can be installed at grade or on structure. There is no exposed hardware within our systems and field welding is not required with any of our products. Our systems are available in corten steel, stainless steel and powder coated aluminum.

The FRP Support Tray is a fiberglass reinforced plastic tray that is made specifically to support pavers where there is a concern of breakage, fragility, or heavy weight being applied on the surface. It is also commonly used when there are irregular sized pavers being used.

The FRP Support Tray is to be placed on top of the pedestals. Pedestals are recommended to be spaced 2' on center. The tray is free floating and does not need to be screwed to the pedestal unlessthere is a concern for uplift. The pavers are then placed on top of the tray to the desired pattern. The pavers must be glued to the tray to stop any potential movement. Spacers are recommended to be used when setting the pavers on the tray to keep a consistent joint width. We recommend the Cityscape DSG40 spacer, however a standard tile spacer could be used as well.

Steel Tray Paver Support are made of galvanized steel sheets with downturned edges of 3/8"on the four sides, they are double folded to empower the underside of the 3/4" thick paversand grant them an extra strength.

The galvanized metal tray will act as an additional support in the case where a tile is cracked.For proper installation follow the 3 steps below:
1. Ensure both the inside of the tray and bottom side of the tile are clean.
2. Apply an exterior construction adhesive to the tray. 1 bead of glue ever 3" O.C. is recommended.
3. Gently place the tile into the tray and press down firmly.
