THE MILTOWN COLLECTION combines style and durability with environmental friendliness and possesses many features which make it a perfect solution for both cold-weather and warm-weather climates. Polyurethane insulation is foamed in place, which ensures a consistent density and significant panel strength. 1-3/4" thick with an R-value of 16, the Miltown Collection contains a standard tongue and groove joint and a true thermal break. Miltown Collection is available in 3 design choices. Manufactured since 1976, Upwardor®'s AL976 Aluminum Door offers a variety of options for applications that require superior strength, maximum visibility and unlimited light transmission. Its unique and durable design allows customized designs for openings up to 24' wide.

The AL976 has been used in a wide variety of applications such as automotive dealerships, service stations, fire halls, bus terminals, restaurant fronts, etc. Built to last, the AL976 incorporates a number of features to ensure long lasting performance.

The AL-SWD, an aluminum, full-view, sectional door with a slim window design was created to complement current architectural trends for commercial applications.

The 1" thick door is available in a variety of glazing options which offers a light weight door that permits maximum visibility and light transmission. The Nystroll™ Roller is the culmination of in-depth development and field testing in car wash and other harsh environments. The result is a "bearing less" garage door roller that has an extra-long life and is corrosion-proof. Quiet and virtually maintenance free, the Nystroll roller is ideal for high cycle applications, such as car washes.

Upwardor's patented EZ 123 Universal Bottom Bracket's unique design allows easy and installer-friendly replacement of bottom rollers in tight installations, which eliminates the need to take tension off the springs, clamp cables, or the bending or forcing of roller out of track.

The bottom bracket is designed for both 2" and 3" rollers, which minimize inventory costs, and can be used on all sectional door types, 1-1/2" up to 3" thick, including Aluminum Full View Doors.

Made from heavy duty 12 gauge. galvanized steel with aluminum roller holder and built in pull cord/chain attachment, the EZ123 is designed to be the safest multi-purpose bottom bracket in the industry.

In addition to manufacturing door panels, Upwardor®'s plant also houses a full range of roll forming stamping machinery and equipment for fabrication of hardware and accessories (including tracks, angle, brackets, hinges, and end caps). All components are manufactured to "industrial-grade" specifications. Of all the components in our door, 90% are manufactured by Upwardor®. This allows us to maintain competitive pricing, supply the product on short lead-times and supply all of our dealers with bulk quantities or replacement parts.

STEEL:
Steel makes up the majority of the components used to manufacture our garage doors. The steel we use is made up of approximately 50% recycled content. Our steel supplier also participates and is part of LEED® Product Compliance Canada.


INSULATION:
Polyurethane foam insulation comprises the second major component of our garage doors, allowing us to achieve a high R-value and providing consumers with an energy-efficient product. Our polyurethane foam insulation is 100% CFC free and contains Zero ODP (ozone depleting potential).


PACKAGING:
The packaging of our products provides protection during handling and shipping. Our goal is to use enough packaging material to protect our product, without excess waste. The corrugated board used to protect our product is made of 100% recycled content.
