The Series 440 uses the same construction as a 540, yet features a flexible vinyl PVC panel connector in place of the rigid-vinyl hinge and steel rods. The Series 2100 door has a field sound transmission class (FSTC) rating of 21. Field tests were performed by Bruck, Richards & Chaudiere, Inc. of Seattle, Washington following the procedures specified in ASTM E 336-77.

This is a high quality industrial door, with an FSTC of 41*, it features a perimeter seal, acoustic lining and heavy-duty hardware. The 4166 dual wall construction uses 6” panels.

The 8″ panel size gives an extra dimension to our acoustic accordion partitions with an FSTC of 41*. The 4188 incorporates the same dual wall construction for sound reduction as the 4166, but with a wider 8″ panel which reduces the stacking space.
