InnoviFast™ Purlin Fasteners are used for easy installation of IKO Innovi™ TPO thermoplastic polyolefin single-ply roofs into heavy-gauge steel purlins up to a ¼-inch (6.4mm) thick. They are manufactured with a cathodic epoxy E-coating, which is resistant to humidity and cyclic corrosion, and provides for exceptional mechanical fastening. These #12 self-tapping purlin fasteners have a #3 square drive, assuring bit engagement, and have a shank diameter smaller than that of its drill point, allowing thick metal to be drilled and cleared of chips. Having 24 threads per inch (26 mm), InnoviFast Purlin Fasteners are easier and faster to drive, resulting in efficient mechanical attachment.
