Source Limitations: Provide each type of product from a single manufacturing source to ensure uniformity.
DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Store and handle in strict compliance with manufacturer's written instructions and recommendations.
Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.
Store products in covered area and protect from damage due to weather, excessive temperature, and construction operations.
PROJECT CONDITIONS
Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's recommended limits.
WARRANTY
Manufacturer's Standard Limited Warranty: Products free from defects in material and workmanship for seven years maximum from the date of purchase. All parts, electronics (except light bulbs), and labor are covered for a period of two years. Trims and faces are covered for a period of two years.

EXECUTION
EXAMINATION
Do not begin installation until the substrates have been properly constructed and prepared.
If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect in writing of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
Verify proper power supply and fuel source are available.
PREPARATION
Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
INSTALLATION
Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, ANSI Z21.44 and the requirements of authorities having jurisdiction.
Use manufacturer's guidelines for minimum clearances to combustibles, walls, and finishes.
Anchor all components firmly in position for long life under hard use.
Upon completion of installation, visually inspect all exposed surfaces. Touch up scratches and abrasions with touch up paint recommended by the manufacturer. Make imperfections invisible to the unaided eye from a distance of 5 feet (1.5 m).
CLEANING AND PROTECTION
Clean products in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Protect installed products until completion of project.
Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
