ASTM F1554: 2020 - Standard Specification for Anchor Bolts, Steel, 36, 55, and 105-ksi Yield Strength.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA):
Classified as a walking / working surface in accordance with 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D.
SUBMITTALS
Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00.
Product Data:
Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used.
Preparation instructions and recommendations.
Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.
Typical installation methods.
Shop Drawings: Include details of materials, construction, and finish. Include relationship with adjacent construction.
Delegated-Design Submittal: For installed products indicated to comply with performance requirements, include structural analysis data signed and sealed by the qualified professional engineer responsible for their preparation.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing products specified in this section with a minimum of five years documented experience.
Installer Qualifications: Company specializing in performing Work of this section with minimum two years documented experience with projects of similar scope and complexity.
Professional Engineer Qualifications: A professional engineer who is legally qualified to practice in jurisdiction where Project is located and who is experienced in providing engineering services of the kind indicated. Engineering services are defined as those performed for installations of stair systems that are similar to those indicated for this project in material, design, and extent.
Welding Qualifications: Qualify procedures and personnel in accordance with the following welding code:
AWS D1.2/D1.2M, "Structural Welding Code - Aluminum."
Source Limitations: Provide each type of product from a single manufacturing source to ensure uniformity.
PRE-INSTALLATION CONFERENCE
Convene a conference approximately two weeks before scheduled commencement of the Work. Attendees shall include Architect, Contractor and trades involved. Agenda shall include schedule, responsibilities, critical path items and approvals.
DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
Store and handle in strict compliance with manufacturer's written instructions and recommendations.
Protect from damage due to weather, excessive temperature, and construction operations.
WARRANTY
Manufacturer's standard limited warranty unless indicated otherwise.

EXECUTION
EXAMINATION
Do not begin installation until the substrates have been properly constructed and prepared.
If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect in writing of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
PREPARATION
Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
INSTALLATION
Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, approved submittals, and in proper relationship with adjacent construction.
CLEANING AND PROTECTION
Clean products in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
