What's New: Week of 05/17/2026

The 2026 Symposium on Radon and Radiation Protection is bringing key voices together to discuss Canada's future in radiation safety, radon exposure, compliance, and practical protection strategies across regulated environments.

MarShield will be attending in Saskatoon from May 27 to 31. Raj Singh, Business Development Executive at MarShield, is looking forward to contributing to conversations on the importance of proper shielding as nuclear medicine continues to expand across healthcare, research, and specialized treatment environments.

MarShield will attend the Canadian Radiotheranostics Leaders' Summit 2026, taking place May 25 and 26 at the Hilton Toronto.

Raj Singh, Business Development Executive, will represent MarShield at the event, which brings together leaders across the isotope supply chain, healthcare, academia, government, and investment communities to support Canada's role in radiotheranostics and patient access.

MarShield will attend OCNI Bruce County Industry Night on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in Southampton, Ontario. The event brings together professionals and leaders from across the nuclear energy sector for industry dialogue, networking, and peer connection.

Walter Silva, Vice President of MarShield, will represent the company at the event. As Canada continues to examine the role of nuclear power in meeting energy needs, conversations around safety, compliance, supply chain readiness, and long-term infrastructure are becoming increasingly important.

In nuclear medicine, shielding can't be a background detail. At the 2026 SNMMI Annual Meeting, MarShield will be speaking with healthcare and imaging professionals about the shielding requirements behind safe, functional nuclear medicine environments. The meeting takes place May 30 to June 2, 2026, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
