Rooftop and Ground Heliports
FEC Heliports has designed the perfect system to support any rooftop application. Our HELISLAT is an aluminum extrusion made of 6000 Series aluminum with an internal cavity available for snowmelting. This design offers the strength of concrete with the bonus of low maintenance, high durability, and is lightweight enough to work on every application. Our consultants will visit your facility to help you determine the best location for your rooftop pad per the FAA Guidelines. Our in-house staff of engineers will help you coordinate the design and our experienced installation crew will make the installation easy! We have designed, fabricated and installed more rooftop heliports than anyone else in the world and we would consider it a privilege to help provide your facility with the safest, most cost-effective option on the market today.

FEC Heliports has designed a great alternative to the typical concrete helipad. Our HELOMAT is specifically designed for ground or retrofit applications. The 1" x 1' wide aluminum panels fit together in a tongue & groove fashion that makes installation a breeze. Not only will this pad never deteriorate the way a concrete pad will, but it can be moved as your facility expands. It has an internal cavity specifically designed for our state-of-the-art snowmelt equipment. If your current concrete pad is deteriorating, our HELOMAT can be put right over the top of your existing pad, providing you with a new low maintenance surface. Preparation for a new ground helipad with our HELOMAT is as simple as the compacted aggregate base that you would use for a concrete pad. Let our consultants visit your facility to make sure your location will meet the clearances recommended in the current FAA Guidelines.

Lighting
Perimeter lights are one of the most important safety features on your helipad. They are used to mark and illuminate the FATO and TLOF and they help the pilot locate the pad and safely land during night operations and inclement weather conditions. Pole mounted perimeter lights have a 1" NPT female fitting.
FEC's perimeter lights are the most important safety feature on your helipad. Our lights illuminate the edges of the landing area to provide a true perimeter marking. Ground mounted perimeter lights attach directly to the surface with your attachment hardware. HP0590G replaces HP0506G.
This newly redesigned Inset Perimeter Light is the latest addition to the FEC Heliports line of high quality LED lights. Perimeter lights are one of the most important safety features on your helipad. They are used to mark and illuminate the FATO and TLOF as well as to help the pilot locate the pad and safely land during night operations and inclement weather conditions. The Inset Perimeter Light is used in place of an elevated helipad perimeter light at locations where the lights are frequently knocked down by aircraft and or maintenance vehicles. These lights are strong enough to drive over.

Offshore and Shipboard Helipads
FEC Heliports has designed and installed many shipboard and offshore helipads. Our reputation as a company that gets the job done in the healthcare and traditional helipad industry has helped us break into this challenging environment. Our aluminum helipads are an excellent choice for the type of extreme weather conditions these helipads incur, while also providing better design options with our lightweight material. Retractable safety netting for shipboard applications is just another example of how our engineers continue to design beyond traditional industry standards.
