Our story began in Jalgaon, India, with Shri Bhavarlal Hiralal Jain's vision to make a meaningful difference in agriculture and communities. Over the decades, Jain Irrigation expanded into micro-irrigation systems, agro-processing, renewable energy, and plastic piping, operating 29 manufacturing plants worldwide. In the early 1990s, we entered the plastic sheet market, serving Europe and the USA with PVC and polycarbonate solutions for the sign and graphics industry. By 2004, Jain had broadened into building materials, developing innovative solutions that continue to shape the industry.
In 2006, Jain acquired NuCedar Mills, a pioneer in premium-grade architectural siding, trim, and millwork. Founded in 2005 by Tom Loper, NuCedar was the first in the building materials industry to introduce factory pre-finished cladding systems tailored to custom homes and multi-family residences.
Operating from a modern 52,000-square-foot facility in Chicopee, Massachusetts, NuCedar offers fully integrated in-line ripping, milling, parting, coating, and packaging capabilities. This end-to-end process enables us to deliver a complete cladding system with a broad range of siding and trim options, all meeting the highest standards of craftsmanship, durability, and beauty.
Jain Americas Inc., formerly known as EX-Cel Manufacturing, commenced operations in Columbus, Ohio, in 1992. We began in the Sign, Display, and Graphics Arts Industry, as well as OEM applications, producing two core materials: Polycarbonate and PVC. Uniquely, Jain is one of the few manufacturers of both Free Foam and Celuka PVC.
In 2004, our expertise and production quality drew the attention of three major distributors seeking PVC solutions for building materials. After initial private-label partnerships, we expanded fully into the Building Materials market. Today, with high-quality production standards and large-scale capacity, Jain has grown into a trusted supplier of PVC materials for building applications across North America.

The beauty of a cedar shingle isn't apparent until it's firmly fastened to the wall among hundreds of other shingles. No two shingles look quite the same – because they aren't.
Because Mother Nature doesn't allow shingles to look alike, neither does NuCedar.
NuCedar Shingles are milled, not molded, in a modern day sawmill and have the same unique character and warm texture as wood. Our brushing patterns produce different color and shading appearance on each shingle, allowing installers to create a quilt-like effect on the exterior of a home. NuCedar Shingles offer an extended level of durability and low maintenance that cedar shingles just cannot match.

Designed to work with NuCedar trim and cladding products, NuCedar Board & Batten, Modern Shiplap, T&G Shiplap and Channel Rustic profiles are available in Smooth and RoughSawn™ surface textures. NuCedar's vertical siding profiles are factory finished with a solar-reflective coating in 14 traditional colors.

Compliment your siding with our factory finished Standard Trim and Corners. NuCedar trim is offered in a variety of standard widths and sizes. Fascias, casements, rakes and other accents can easily be crafted to complete your home.
Each trim piece is coated on one surface and the sides. The trim may be cut, milled or routed using normal wood working tools. Paint may be purchased for any touch up work.

The solar-reflective pigments reduce heat transference from the sun's rays into your home. As a result, walls of the home can be kept significantly cooler and energy costs can be reduced from 5-9% dependent on location and wall insulation — even when using darker colors in warm climates.

We understand, at Jain, that sometimes accessories can be just as important as the trim. From Fasteners, to Adhesive, Fillers and Paint.
Fasteners - Starborn PRO PLUG® System for PVC is a superior and easy way to install your EX-Cel Trim. The system features the PVC Tool (which drives screws to the correct depth without stripping the screw recess or damaging the Trim), star drive fasteners in epoxy coated carbon steel in grades 305 & 316 (stainless steel available for special order), and plugs made out of our material, to match your EX-Cel PVC trim.
The Starborn HEADCOATE® White color will match the EX-Cel Classic PVC Trim and Sheet. These colored screw heads are pre-finished at Starborn Industries and are not exact matches to the EX-Cel. They are designed to blend into the coating of the trim as close as possible.
Adhesive & Fillers
Fill & Flex -Extreme Adhesive's Trim Welder™ Series offers Fill & Flex™, an adhesive that is an urethane based, one part, PVC adhesive / sealant with premium grade TiO2 pigments. It has a high level of flexibility and elongation which makes it perfect to absorb expansion and contraction from heat and cold. It is supplied in a 10.3 oz caulking tube. Fill & Flex is white, however it is also paintable.
White Hot - This thick, creamy, and bright white solvent based adhesive is just the thing for joining PVC to itself when you don't need the super strength and faster curing of our structural grades. It's packaged in a convenient 5oz squeeze tube with a re-sealable cap.
Nail Eraser - Nail Eraser is specifically formulated just for PVC Trim. PVC Nail Erasers let you fill in nail holes up to 1/8". Use only on PVC Trim that will not be painted.
