ArmorPlast® AR Polycarbonate Sheet is an abrasion and UV resistant sheet that offers glass-like surface hardness coupled with the impact strength of polycarbonate. Additionally, ArmorPlast® AR Polycarbonate Sheet offers resistance from yellowing and hazing for longer service life in high-profile applications.

Typical applications for ArmorPlast® AR Polycarbonate Sheet include school, hospital, and retail store glazing. ArmorPlast® is also used extensively in correctional and psychiatric facilities.

This nonballistic (containment grade) glazing shield product allows bullet penetration but won't break down or appreciably diminish in strength. Although a glazing shield does not stop bullets, it resists cracking or shattering. Even after being riddled with bullets, it remains a barrier to entry because it cannot be easily dislodged and a would-be intruder's hand is prevented from passing through to open the door, keeping intruders out of the building.

ArmorPlast®50 containment grade sheet is a 0.500˝, 3-ply polycarbonate laminate that meets ASTM F 1233-08 Class 1.4 for contraband passage and Class 2.8 for body passage. ArmorPlast®50 also meets HP White TP 0500 Level A (.38 Special) and ASTM F1233-08, Level HG1 (.38 Special) for ballistics.

Unlike glass-clad products, this all-polycarbonate laminate resists spalling and white-out after repeated high force and ballistic impacts, an advantage in maintaining visibility of a threat during an attack.

All ArmorPlast® products incorporate Polycarbonate Sheets produced for high optical quality in security glazing laminates. Exterior surfaces have a proprietary hard coat that facilitates cleaning and resists marring, chemical, and graffiti attack.

ArmorPlast®375 containment grade sheet has a 3/8″ overall thickness –  a two-ply laminate that satisfies the requirements of ASTMF1915 for a 30-minute attack.

Constructed of polycarbonate sheets, the laminate features an abrasion and UV resistant coating for extended service life in harsh environments.

ArmorPlast® 375 is ideal for schools, religious facilities, retail stores, and corporate C-suite entrances to protect against forced entry. It is also ideal as a replacement panel in existing storefront-type door systems.

Our AP-Series IGUs are the industry's first security Insulating Glass Units. We have combined the energy efficiency and sound-mitigating qualities of a standard 1" insulating unit with the durability of our integrated AP-Series security panels.

The dual-glazed system is available with your choice of AP25, AP375, or AP375-BR security panels on the attack side. On the safe side of the AP-Series IGUs, you can choose from our full line of glass options. End users can safely apply graphics and banners to the interior side without damaging the units.

Our Shock Spacer™ allows the attack side to dissipate the kinetic energy shock waves to the edges without damage to the seal. AP-Series IGUs work perfectly with our Universal Framing System for single and dual-pane upgrades.

The J-Series (Judicial Series) sub-framing is available in ballistic and forced entry grades and is designed to provide a smooth, even surface for mounting our secondary glazing systems.

Also referred to as our Compression Framing System, the J-Series can be made with our patented compression technology for mounting into historic structures without drilling or other permanent damage to the building's original materials. It can be removed later with no signs of having been installed.

In the best case scenario, this results in expensive cleanup, repairs, and glass replacement. In the worst case, it can result in loss of life and breaches of classified information.

This is why it's of the utmost importance to install some type of security glass for military and government facilities.

RIOT GLASS® BULLET RESISTANT GLASS FOR ACTIVE SHOOTER PROTECTION

Riot Glass® offers bullet-resistant glazing shields that are designed specifically with schools in mind. These glazing shields look andfunction just like standard window glass, but they can withstand ballistic attacks and prevent active shooters from gaining entry to the building.

Many of our bullet-resistant glass and glass-like security solutions for schools receive a ballistic resistance rating from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), which is a leading organization that rates all types of commercial safety and security products.

The highest level of bullet-resistant glazing we offer has a UL 752 Level 8 rating. This means that the panels can resist a high-speed, multi-shot attack from an active shooter using an AK-47 rifle loaded with .308 150-grain military rounds.

Our glazing shields can be applied over an educational facility's window and door glass to stop bullets and prevent an active shooter from shooting out a window and climbing through it, or shooting through a glass door to reach in and open it from the other side. We also offer fully-rated framing and ballistic doors in varying configurations.

Unfortunately, violence against health care workers is much more common than you might think. It can be perpetrated by violent or mentally unwell patients, by frustrated visitors, or even by disgruntled former employees.

Having action plans in place is a great first step towards increasing hospital employee and patient safety, but they often fail to provide physical protection in the event of a violent incident.

For storefront glass, we typically recommend access-denial glazing shields. These are virtually unbreakable and look and feel just like your standard storefront windows. 

The only thing access-denial security glazing doesn't stop is bullets, but it won't break apart or diminish in strength even after being riddled with bullets. So, you can imagine how little luck a would-be intruder is going to have, smashing through it with a bat or a sledgehammer.

When a break-in or smash-and-grab attempt is met with Riot Glass®, the perpetrator is going to be very surprised when their efforts to smash your storefront glass are so effectively repelled. They're either going to move on to find an easier target or get caught by the authorities. 

In situations where the authorities are delayed or preoccupied with other crimes, such as during a widespread riot, our glazing shields have been proven to keep intruders out for up to 1 hour of sustained aggressive attack.
