What are Inlay Doors?

What is Floor to Ceiling?

The floor-to-ceiling mounting method secures toilet partition pilasters using hardware at the floor and the ceiling. The floor connections typically use floor plates concealed by a shoe. The ceiling connections similarly use ceiling plates concealed by a shoe. Alternative connection options for the floor or the ceiling include pedestals for a Euro aesthetic and L brackets inside the pilasters for a more discrete feel.

What is Ceiling Hung?

Ceiling hung is a mounting method which uses sturdy mounting bars to anchor pilasters to the ceiling without attachments at the floor. The mounting bars are concealed by shoes. This method requires structural steel within 2″ of interior side of hard lid ceiling to solidly anchor to the building structure. For high ceilings with correspondingly long pilasters, transoms may be necessary to increase the system's rigidity.

What is Floor Mount?

Floor mount is a mounting method which uses sturdy mounting bars and expansion wedge anchors to affix pilasters to the floor (minimum 4" concrete) without attachments at the ceiling. Shoes conceal the mounting bars. Some floors, such as post-tension or radiant heat, may not be compatible with this mounting style.

What is European Mounting Style?

European mounting style features pilasters secured with headrail at the top and pedestals at the bottom. This configuration provides a distinctive look while ensuring robust stability for toilet partitions. Typically, anti-grip headrail is made of extruded aluminum.The pedestals are also made of aluminum. The headrail may also be manufactured from the same material as the rest of the partition.
