Preblended Cementitious Products
Technology and innovation is what advances industries - the building materials industry is no exception. Since our founding in 1989, the SPEC MIX® organization initiated the charge to revolutionize the cement-based construction products segment of the commercial construction industry by utilizing computer batching systems and innovative material delivery systems. SPEC MIX is now the standard for quality assurance and performance. Traditional jobsite material mixing methods had their place - but that was many years ago when no one had a better strategy - until SPEC MIX, took the reins. Today we're still leading the preblended cementitious products industry and wear the heavyweight belt proudly.
SPEC MIX is the construction industry's leading producing of high performance, preblended-dry masonry mortars, colored mortars and reinforcing grouts, adhered veneer mortars as well as specialty concretes and stuccos. With over 60 production facilities in North America supported by 60 plus product specialists and a complete team of engineers and laboratories, SPEC MIX provides innovative materials and silo material delivery system solutions for every project large and small.

The SPEC MIX D2W is the ultimate SPEC MIX silo material mixing system for mortar, grout, stucco, shotcrete and most all other types of cementitious based products. The portable system completely eliminates the need for a jobsite mixer and labor. Specifically designed to attach to the bottom of a SPEC MIX G7000 or Ten Bagger silo, this continuous power mixing auger system utilizes a unique array of specialized mixing paddles, agitators and a controlled water feed. It folds and sheers any preblended cementitious product to efficiently hydrate the dried aggregate and mechanically work natural air into the material for maximum workability. Contractors can choose from an output of 3.5 or 7.0 cubic yards per hour and adjust to specific batch sizes or run continuously to a pump.
The SPEC MIX® D2W Workhorse Continuous Mixing System is powered by a standard 120V circuit so you mix SPEC MIX products anywhere on site. Simply plug into a power outlet, connect to a strong and steady water source then flip on the switch and start breaking bags of SPEC MIX products for continuous, consistently mixed materials. This lightweight, highly mobile mixer puts out 1.5 yards of mix per hour or small amounts of material to complete the job. When working indoor and outdoor, floor-to-floor, large projects or small, the D2W Workhorse is the system for high productivity and profitability.
The SPEC MIX® D2W Continuous Mixing System with its Gas Powered Hydraulic Drive is the portable batch plant giving contractors the ability to mix large amounts of materials anywhere without needing any utilities - no electricity and no pressurized water line! Simply connect the D2W's hose to its pump and a 200 gallon tank of clean water, start the gas powered hydraulic drive and the D2W Continuous Mixing System is capable of producing up to 10 cubic yards of material per hour. Once the water ratio is set the D2W continuously produces highly consistent, workable product with optimal open-time.
