PERMALIGHT Multi-Use Photoluminescent Polyester Tape (1 x 164) is UL1994-listed and building-code compliant for marking staircase handrails, wall-mounted perimeters, exit door frames, and door push bars.

Made of a durable and flexible polyester photoluminescent material with an opaque backing, this tape is durable and doesnt easily rip. This roll of tape is 1-inch wide and 164-feet long and has a self-adhesive backing.

How it Works
Following activation by ambient lighting, the PERMALIGHT Multi-Use Photoluminescent Polyester Tape glows brightly in pitch dark areas, creating a visible path during emergency darkness situations on stair handrails, wall perimeters, door frames, and door push bars for the building-code specified length of time (and beyond).

The PERMALIGHT Multi-Use Photoluminescent Polyester Tape is part of the PERMALIGHT Photoluminescent Egress Path Marking System.

If your project is in New York City, please purchase 82-40708L-NYC Tape instead, which has the NYC required labeling.

Other Uses
Besides use for building-code compliant photoluminescent egress path markings, this glow-in-the-dark tape can be used to add visibility and enhance safety as needed in homes, warehouses, retail stores, daycare centers, and more. The tape is easily cut with standard scissors and sticks well to smooth, clean, dust-free surfaces. Add glow to light switch plates, keys, door handles, and more.

PERMALIGHT Photoluminescent Aluminum Strip has an anti-slip surface and semi-stiff metal (aluminum) base. The foamy self-adhesive layer conforms well to both smooth and porous installation surfaces, as well as being resistant to weather and water absorption while providing a long-lasting bond. You can expect a durable install when used with the required accessories and following our installation instructions.
