The Cast-in-Place panel is delivered pre-assembled with an extra heavy-duty anchoring system, specifically designed for easy insertion and embedment into fresh concrete. Our Replaceable cast-in-place detectable warning surface is far superior to any alternative on the market.

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES:

• Body thickness is 0.20" not including truncated domes (10% greater than the closest alternative).

• Panel weight is 2.25 lbs. per SF (12% more material than the closest alternative).

• Four-Sided Embedment Flange is 0.75" deep and 1.02" thick.

• Utilizes time-tested and proven 0.5" x 1.5" Corrosion Resistant Concrete Inserts with 6,200 psi. of pulldown strength per insert.

• Inserts are housed in a 0.5" recessed fixture on the back side of the panel.

• This ensures 2" of embedment depth into the concrete (50% deeper than the closest alternative).

• The Replaceable unit is secured into the anchor with a 0.5" x 1.5" heavy-duty metal bolt located 0.25" into the body of the panel.

WHAT ARE RADIUS TACTILE SYSTEMS?

Each tactile panel is a detectable warning tile that meets the detectable warning surface requirements of the latest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Each is of a uniform color and made of a glass and carbon-reinforced polyester composite material. Per current standards, domes are arranged in a square grid pattern. These raised truncated domes are 0.2" in height, with a base diameter of 0.9", and spaced at 1.6" to 2.4" apart per the Federal Code of Regulations.

The pattern provides a wheelchair or walker user with tactile feedback. For optimal results, a 2.35" horizontal and vertical center-to-center dome spacing is preferred. Radius SA tile in the standard dome spacing range is required to have dimensions of 24" x 33.25".

The difference between our standard panels and radius (curved) solutions is the ability to follow the contour of sidewalk curbs, curb ramps, and other surfaces. Individuals using a wheelchair, walker, or shopping cart, or anyone who is visually impaired will feel the curved truncated domes. The tangible feedback from these tactile warning surfaces notifies them they're close to the edge of a roadway, for example, where traffic or other dangers may be.

Apart from these standard features, ADA Solutions' replaceable graphic warning tiles can be customized with an image or message of your choosing. Custom graphics and messages provide visual information to indicate boundaries (“Do Not Enter"), convey instructions to pedestrians (“Yield to Traffic"), specify areas reserved for people with disabilities, advertise a local business, or communicate other pertinent messages. The graphics will not become marred or worn away from foot traffic or harsh weather conditions.
